Thick blood.

You know when you sit still for a long time and you can almost feel your blood getting thick? I feel like that.

Anyway, while all of you are having group sketch times, I'm down here with a cat, an old lady, and an Intuos3 for company. I make ridiculous vector graphics and continually throw myself at the t-shirt printing industry to avoid a vegetative state.

Various degrees of vector smush, mostly in the form of birthday cards for friends.

This image is in the running (well, maybe bringing up the tail end of the running) at Shirt.woot's weekly contest. You can even vote for it if you've bought a shirt from the site before.

This cricket bat shirt would very much like to go to print, and could do so with your kind votes.

I'm looking forward to harassing the Richmond population in November.

Up, Left, Right

Sometimes I get working on a serious illustration, but then I get distracted by some scrap paper and this kind of thing happens.

I finished a drawing for myself. I really did.

I hardly ever finish anything drawn for myself, but I did it this time! Haydee from Alexandre Dumas' The Count of Monte Cristo. Haydee, you make everything all right in the end.

I should do a sketch post, too. In the mean time, here's some fun doodles. I'm (not really) sorry, but they are all Legend of Zelda related. I'm so impatient for Spirit Tracks (the new toon-styled LoZ game for DS) to be released that I'm replaying every other game in the franchise until December. Except for Four Swords, since I have no one with whom I can play. Very sad, I know. I'm currently playing through Ocarina of Time. Guys, the Shadow Temple is a lot scarier than I remember it being.

I need to practice coloring glass.

I am the laziest sketchbook updater on the Internet.

I can't believe I haven't posted since before graduation. Here, from newest to oldest, is a little bit of what was in my "to be scanned" pile:

In other news:
I moved down to Florida without too much difficulty, and am enjoying extreme humidity and clockwork precipitation to the utmost. My cat is stoked that a flock of ibis likes to hang out in the back yard.

Fairy Tales and Drama Doodles

Last three illustrations for Senior Project. They're for "The Metal Pig" (Hans Christian Andersen) and "The Bremen Town Musicians" (Grimm's). The black and white is a tiny spot illustration to go with "Bremen".

Doodling while watching Korean drama "Coffee Prince". Yoon Eun Hye is so awesome.
